Sarah Splain is a veteran homeschool mom with extensive leadership experience, including serving as Challenge Director for levels A-3 and graduating two daughters through Classical Conversations. She has taught various subjects such as Latin, Biology, Chemistry, Art, Math, Logic, and Gardening as a private tutor. A master gardener, Sarah has developed school gardens and gardening programs for children and adults, designed permaculture food forests, and created garden designs for residential and business properties. She works alongside her husband, Chef Don Splain, in their catering business and his culinary ventures. Passionate about continuous learning, Human Neuroplasticity, and all things brain-related, Sarah studied Neurology and worked as a dementia care specialist and social worker before homeschooling. She holds a triple BA from West Virginia Wesleyan College in Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work with a Gerontology focus, and she minored in Philosophy, Fine Arts, Nutrition, and English. Additionally, she is a licensed Recreation Therapist and a Master Gardener.
