Pastor Jean Paul, born on Christmas Day in Haiti in 1946, has dedicated over 55 years to ministry and service. He graduated on April 3, 1970, becoming an ordained and certified pastor. For 18 years, he led a church in Haiti and served as the founder, teacher, and administrator of three elementary schools, educating children from kindergarten through sixth grade. To further his skills, he studied English at an American English school for two years and is now fluent in French, English, and Creole. His love for reading, travel, and playing the accordion has taken him to various countries, including Israel, Kenya, Greece, Mexico, the Bahamas, Jamaica, Panama, Puerto Rico, and Belize. After moving to the U.S. in 1982, he continued his ministry until officially transferred in 1988, when he established Bayshore Community Church. In 2004, he founded the Bayshore Education Center and worked as a Creole tutor for the Collier County School District from 1993 until 2010, impacting numerous students during that time at Lely High School, Gulf View Middle School, Calusa Park Elementary, and Golden Gate High School. Pastor Jean Paul and his wife, Marie J. Paul, have been happily married for 37 years and are proud parents of 10 children and doting grandparents to 15 grandchildren and counting.
