Glenn Connell has been a software engineer for his entire professional life. After getting his bachelor’s degree cum laude with a major in East Asian studies and mathematics, he was awarded the Monbusho Graduate Study award to study computer science in Japan. He turned that opportunity into a Master’s degree in computer science from Toyohashi Institute of Technology. This exposure allowed Glenn to achieve an advanced level of proficiency in Japanese. While in Japan, Glenn was co-captain of the university karate club, which won 2nd place in the All Japan East Coast Collegiate Karate Championship. Later, Glenn received his MBA from Boston College.
Additionally, Glenn has had both a United States Coast Guard 25 gross ton Inland Master’s license, as well as a British RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, commercially endorsed license. At Veritas, Glenn, a committed Christian who loves God’s Word, hopes to use a Christ-centered approach to mentor the next generation and instill these passions for learning and integrity. Outside of work, Glenn enjoys investing deeply in family life, his church, and continuing his studies.
