Fallacy Detective

In this engaging middle school course, students will strengthen their critical thinking skills through the study of logic, fallacies, and analogical reasoning. Using The Fallacy Detective, students will learn to spot common errors in reasoning and sharpen their ability to think clearly and argue persuasively. Through Analogies for Us, they will develop pattern recognition, vocabulary, and abstract thinking as they explore word relationships and logical connections. This course emphasizes discussion, games, and practical application, helping students become more thoughtful readers, writers, and speakers.
