Photography 1

Instructor: Ms. Palacios

Photography is all about helping students understand their gear and get comfortable with DSLR camera settings to push the limits of their photography. It’s ideal for those who have used a DSLR before but want to move beyond “auto” mode and learn to shoot with intention. Students will take a deep dive into combining their knowledge of camera gear with lighting and composition to create compelling photos. Once images are captured, students will learn photo management, organization, and editing techniques using Adobe Lightroom Classic, an industry-standard software. Each week, students will apply what they’ve learned—seeing and photographing the world as the creatives God made them to be. Join us for exclusive extracurricular photo walks and photographer events (available to students by sign-up) for additional group coaching and photo exploration time!
