Leadership Through Service

Great leaders are not born—they are developed through character, humility, wisdom, and a heart to serve others. In this engaging course, students will discover that true leadership is not about power or popularity, but about using their gifts to positively influence others through integrity, responsibility, and Christ-like service.

Students will learn that leadership happens in everyday moments—welcoming a new student, noticing someone who feels left out, taking initiative without being asked, serving instructors and classmates, solving problems, and leading by example. Through hands-on activities, team challenges, role-playing, discussions, and meaningful service projects, students will build practical leadership skills they can apply at home, at church, in school, and throughout their community.

Class Expectations

Students should come ready to participate, collaborate, and serve. Active involvement in discussions, team activities, leadership challenges, and service opportunities is expected. Students will be encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, take initiative, and demonstrate leadership both inside and outside the classroom. This course emphasizes growth in character as much as leadership skills, helping students become confident, compassionate leaders who honor Christ through their actions.
