We are excited to announce our partnership that will create a pathway for our students to take accredited college classes at Veritas Study Lounge. We have recently partnered with a Christian organization called Christian Halls International (CHI).

Christian Halls’ mission is to “strengthen local communities by offering Christ-centered tutorial-based education that fosters intellectual, spiritual, and vocational formation.”

By partnering with Christian universities, colleges, and organizations, CHI allows high school students to take online college-level courses from their partner institutions with the guidance of local academic mentors/facilitator.

Looking for a safe, faith-filled space where your teen can earn college credit while still in high school?  Veritas Study Lounge’s Dual Enrollment Program, in partnership with Christian Halls Internationals and Southeastern University, will be offering affordable, Christ-centered college courses with on-site support and mentorship.

Offered both in person and online, our Oxford-style tutorials will help students grow in wisdom, confidence, and purpose.

Veritas Study Lounge: Dual Enrollment – Mission Statement

The Dual Enrollment Program empowers high school students to pursue college-level academics while deepening their faith, sharpening their intellect, and cultivating life skills. Through a Christ-centered, classical approach, we guide students to integrate biblical truth with academic excellence, preparing them to serve with purpose and confidence in their God-given callings.

Veritas Study Lounge: Dual Enrollment – Vision Statement

Our vision is to develop graduates who embody spiritual maturity, intellectual rigor, and practical wisdom. Through immersive tutorials, mentorship, and a supportive community, we aim to equip students to transition into adulthood with a resilient faith, a coherent worldview, and the competencies necessary to lead and serve in accordance with God’s calling.

Any fees associated with taking dual enrollment classes through Veritas Study Lounge can be paid for through Step Up!

Requirements.

Students must be at least a sophomore in high school and have a high school unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher for all academic courses. Age limit of 15-20. (PERT Test not required)

How it works.

Your high schooler registers for the college courses that we are offering. The college professor of that course is responsible for assigning and grading their work and teaches them online. During the week, your student meets with a “Dual Enrollment Facilitator” at Veritas. According to the “Oxford” tutoring system used by CHI, the facilitator will help the student really dig into the content of the course, through socratic dialogues, and make sure they are engaging with the concepts in a rigorous way that will prepare them for college-level thinking and work. They will also help students understand how to navigate the online college portal, and organize, understand, and complete assignments. Because of the high quality of work that the student can create using this style of tutoring, we can be confident that their work will be good and that they will earn good college grades on their high school and college transcripts.
